Serves: Black Hills Energy’s electric service territory in parts of Crowley, Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Otero, Pueblo and Teller counties; major communities include Pueblo, Cañon City and Rocky Ford.
Do I Qualify
- Have a Colorado residential electric account with Black Hills Energy.
- Install qualifying new equipment in conditioned living space during 2026.
- Provide AHRI documentation for matched central AC and heat pump systems.

The customer completes the application. The installer completes the equipment and certification sections.

The Steps to Apply
- Select equipment and confirm the applicable installation tier. Application and chart.
- Install the equipment and collect an itemized invoice and required certificates.
- Send the signed application and documents by January 31, 2027.
