Georgia Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates: Paused

The program is paused. Paused and not accepting new applications. The provider says the October reopening will cover only wiring and panel upgrades alongside eligible HER projects.

Serves: Georgia households statewide.

Do I Qualify

  • The original program serves income-qualified Georgia households below 150% of county area median income.
  • An approved contractor must handle the heat-pump project.
  • Replacing an existing electric heat pump with another electric heat pump is not a qualifying first purchase.
  • Do not start a new HVAC project expecting HEAR funding under the announced limited reopening.
