Central Air Conditioner Incentive: Open

Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open: The Electric Utility is offering an incentive for the purchase and installation of residential central air conditioning units.

Serves: Naperville Electric Utility residential customers.

Do I Qualify

  • You must be a residential electric utility customer and own or rent the residence.
  • The replacement model must meet the AHRI-certified efficiency requirement.
  • Submit the complete application and documentation within 120 days after installation.
  • New construction is ineligible. Limit one incentive per household.

Who Files It

The residential customer submits the incentive application.

The money is paid to the homeowner.

The Steps to Apply

  1. Purchase and install a qualifying replacement central air conditioner.
  2. Collect the dated, itemized paid receipt, indoor coil and furnace model numbers, and matching AHRI certificate.
  3. Submit the application and documents through GOVQA. Apply for Central AC Incentive.
