Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open. You can apply for a rebate after your purchase within 90 days.
Serves: Service territories in the southern half of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, including Albion, Battle Creek, Holland, Niles, Port Huron and Three Rivers, and the central, eastern and western Upper Peninsula.
Do I Qualify
- You must be a SEMCO residential customer.
- Apply within 90 days of purchase and installation.
How Much Comes Off

| Thermostats | Smart thermostat replacing a non-smart thermostat; primary heating must be SEMCO natural gas | $100 per household |

The customer submits the application and proof of purchase.
The money is paid to the homeowner.
