New Jersey Natural Gas HVAC and Water Heating: Open
Enrollment for 2026 is open. Rebates are available for qualifying equipment purchased and installed by June 30, 2027.
Serves: New Jersey's Monmouth, Ocean, Morris, Middlesex and Burlington counties.
Do I Qualify
- Receive natural gas from NJNG at an eligible existing single-family home.
- Provide a photo of the old furnace, a paid receipt and proof of permit.
- New construction and replacement of an existing condensing furnace do not qualify.
How Much Comes Off

Who Files It
The customer completes the application with contractor equipment information. The customer can authorize payment to another party.
The provider pays either the contractor or the homeowner.
The Steps to Apply
- Confirm the old furnace and proposed replacement qualify before removal.
- Submit the application and supporting records within 120 days of equipment purchase. Application.
