New Mexico Gas Company Space Heating: Open
Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open. Rebate applications will be processed and paid on a first-come, first-served basis, while funds are available.
Serves: New Mexico Gas Company residential natural gas service territory.
Do I Qualify
- Have an active NMGC residential account at an existing home.
- Use a participating contractor for the furnace. Thermostats may be self-installed.
- Limit one replacement furnace per household. New construction and home additions do not qualify.
- Apply within 30 days after installation and no later than April 30, 2027.
How Much Comes Off

Valid from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
Who Files It
The homeowner or participating contractor submits the application. Either may receive payment as requested.
The provider pays either the contractor or the homeowner.
The Steps to Apply
- Choose a participating contractor before replacing the furnace. Review program.
- Submit the invoice, required photographs, signatures and AHRI certificate.
