Con Edison Clean Heat Program: Open
Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open. You can choose air-source heat pumps as a full replacement for your existing heating system or install them alongside your current system with integrated controls.
Serves: New York City and Westchester County.
Do I Qualify
- Use a participating contractor. Con Edison must approve electrical service adequacy.
- Air-source equipment must qualify under the Clean Heat cold-climate requirements and heat the whole home.
- Weatherized Tier and disadvantaged-community rates require separate eligibility checks.
- Geothermal retrofits require decommissioning the existing heating system.
- A home that already received full-load Clean Heat incentives cannot receive another full-load incentive.
- Installing new fossil-fuel heating equipment with the heat pump is ineligible.
