National Grid New York NYS Clean Heat: Open

Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open. NYS Clean Heat incentives for heat pumps are only available to National Grid electric service customers.

Serves: National Grid's electric service territory in upstate New York.

Do I Qualify

  • Use a participating Clean Heat contractor and qualifying equipment sized to heat the whole home.
  • The higher decommissioning rate requires disabling the former fossil-fuel heating system.
  • The contractor must verify Weatherized Tier and disadvantaged-community eligibility.
  • A dwelling that already received full-load Clean Heat incentives is ineligible for another full-load incentive.
  • New fossil-fuel heating equipment cannot be installed with the eligible heat pump.
