Do I Qualify

  • Replace existing equipment one-for-one through a Texas-licensed HVAC contractor.
  • Below 45,000 BTUh, AC needs 14.3 SEER2 and 11.7 EER2; larger AC needs 13.8 SEER2 and 11.2 EER2.
  • Heat pumps need 14.3 SEER2, 11.7 EER2 and 7.5 HSPF2. At 15.2+ SEER2, minimum EER2 becomes 9.8.
  • Early replacement requires working equipment under 25 years old for central AC or under 20 for heat pumps, with equipment photos.
