Serves: LADWP electric service customers in Los Angeles and the Owens Valley.
Do I Qualify
- Have active LADWP residential electric service.
- Install an AHRI-matched system and provide the final approved permit.
- Mini-split and multi-split systems must serve the entire home.
- New construction and accessory dwelling units do not qualify.
How Much Comes Off

Who Files It
The account holder or verified property owner applies. The applicant may authorize another payee.
The provider pays either the contractor or the homeowner.
The Steps to Apply
- Install the qualifying system and collect the invoice, AHRI certificate and final permit.
- Apply online or by mail within the purchase deadline. Apply.
