TECH Clean California San Fernando Valley Residential Incentives: Open
Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open for projects initiated on or after October 22, 2026, in the priority communities. The overview page still says incentives will soon be available.
Serves: Priority communities: Porter Ranch, Granada Hills, Northridge, Chatsworth, North Hills, Canoga Park, Reseda, Winnetka, West Hills, Van Nuys and Lake Balboa.
Do I Qualify
- Live in an eligible priority-community ZIP code.
- Use a contractor enrolled for the applicable San Fernando Valley incentive.
- Air-source equipment must be ENERGY STAR listed and two-stage or variable capacity.
- A contract, installation start or permit opening before the launch date makes the project ineligible.
How Much Comes Off
| Equipment | Requirement | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Heat pump HVAC — market rate | Market Rate (≥80% AMI); qualifying air-source or air-to-water heat pump. | $2,000 per single-family project |
| Heat pump HVAC and weatherization | Income-Qualified (<80% AMI). | $4,500 per single-family project |
Valid from October 22, 2026.
Who Files It
The enrolled contractor reserves funds and submits the claim. TECH pays the contractor to pass the incentive to the customer.
The money is paid to the contractor.
The Steps to Apply
- Confirm the ZIP code and contractor enrollment before signing a contract.
- Have the contractor reserve funding before installation. Check launch and project rules.
