North Shore Gas Home Energy Rebate Program: Open
Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open. If you own a single-family home, two-flat, or individually metered condo or townhome, you can get rebates.
Serves: Chicago's northern suburbs, between Winnetka and the Illinois-Wisconsin border.
Do I Qualify
- Have an active Service Classification 1 account.
- Remove the old equipment. Furnace rebates are limited to existing capacity.
- Install and operate the new equipment during January 1–December 31, 2026.
How Much Comes Off

Who Files It
The customer signs the application. Payment can go to the customer or an authorized contractor.
The provider pays either the contractor or the homeowner.
The Steps to Apply
- Keep your gas bill, itemized invoice and furnace AHRI certificate.
- Submit within 30 days of installation or by December 31, 2026, whichever comes first. Application and terms.
