PSE&G Smart Thermostats: Open
Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open. Get a post-purchase rebate when you purchase an ENERGY STAR certified model and submit a rebate form online.
Serves: PSE&G electric or gas service areas in Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset and Union counties.
Do I Qualify
- Have an active PSE&G residential account.
- Buy a qualifying new thermostat. The limit is two rebates per account.
- Marketplace purchases do not qualify for an additional post-purchase rebate.
How Much Comes Off

Who Files It
The homeowner submits the post-purchase claim. Marketplace customers verify eligibility at checkout for an instant discount.

The Steps to Apply
- Confirm equipment compatibility and ENERGY STAR certification.
- Submit the retail receipt and rebate claim within 120 days of purchase. Eligibility and application.
