Cape Light Compact Ground Source Heat Pumps: Open
Enrollment for 2026 is open. Open for 2026 installations. Equipment must be installed between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.
Serves: Barnstable and Dukes Counties; Eversource electric accounts on Cape Cod or Martha’s Vineyard.
Do I Qualify
- Have an eligible existing Eversource electric account in Compact territory.
- Use a participating installer and meet the primary-heating replacement rules.
- This is not an additional rebate to stack with Mass Save for the same equipment.
How Much Comes Off
| Equipment | Requirement | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Ground-source heat pump — partial-home | ENERGY STAR certified; AHRI listed and certified; program equipment requirements. | $2,000 per ton |
Who Files It
The customer uses the linked Mass Save application. An installer can receive an assigned rebate.
The provider pays either the contractor or the homeowner.
The Steps to Apply
- Call Cape Light Compact to resolve the conflicting partial-home cap before contracting.
- Use the Compact's linked equipment application after eligibility is confirmed.
