- You must be an Appalachian Power residential electric customer in Virginia.
- Buy qualifying ENERGY STAR equipment by December 31, 2026.
- You cannot also claim a Home Performance Program mini-split rebate.

Who Files It
The customer submits the online application and receipt. The provider sends the approved rebate by check.
The money is paid to the homeowner.
The Steps to Apply
- Confirm the equipment qualifies before buying.
- Apply within 45 days of purchase or by January 15 of the following year, whichever comes first. Apply.
